Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be spotlighting the users who have tokenized their businesses using the NASGO platform. The next on our list is recording artist Jaafar Jackson.
Who is Jaafar?
Jaafar Jackson is a rising singer, songwriter and entertainer in Los Angeles, California. He is the second youngest son to legendary singer, songwriter, and producer Jermaine Jackson and nephew to the King of Pop, Michael Jackson and Queen of Pop, Janet Jackson.
Growing up Jackson
At the age of 12, Jaafar began his music career with training in the piano and through developing a slew of techniques and a wealth of knowledge of music and artistry. Jaafar and his younger brother Jermajesty regularly record together.
A creative spirit, Jaafar also shares his appreciation for the arts which includes drawing, traveling and a keen love for fashion. Outside of America, his favorite places to visit are Hong Kong and Austria. The landscaping, shops, and great energy are what Jackson says makes these places dear to his heart.
Mentored and guided by father Jermaine, Jaafar is preparing his debut album and spending a lot of time in the studio and working on music with a team of producers and writers that include 1500 or Nothin’, Teddy Riley, Omar Walker, Kwajo “Cinquo” Boateng, Mischke, Sam Watters as well as Mike Jackson.
Jaafar and NASGO
Jaafar launched his Jusic token on the NASGO blockchain with an exclusive debut performance of four tracks with 1500 or Nothin’ at the Hollywood Dolby Theatre on 27 October 2018. “Jusic” demonstrates the power of blockchain and decentralization through Jaafar’s music.
NASGO will assist in the creation of uniquely-branded digital tokens for use in rewarding followers and customers with branded merchandise, priority seating and early release of upcoming materials. Jaafar will also use the technology to support and advance social causes, and to continue the social impact legacy begun by Michael Jackson and currently championed by members of the Jackson family including father Jermaine.
